Heartline Staffing is recruiting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a correctional healthcare contract in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Two openings are available.

TRAVEL CONTRACT AT A GLANCE

Gross Weekly Pay: $1,115

Taxable Rate: $11.00/hour

Weekly Stipend: $675

Overtime Rate: $30.00/hour

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Contract Length: 26 weeks | Extension opportunities available

Shift: 8-hour shifts | Float various shifts

Scheduling: Up to two different shifts in a two-week period

Weekends: Off

Location: Somerset, PA

Overtime: Available

Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable tax-home and IRS requirements.

THE ASSIGNMENT

Provide essential patient care services within a secure correctional environment, supporting the health and well-being of individuals in custody.

This assignment offers 40 guaranteed hours per week on 8-hour shifts with the flexibility to float between various shifts. CNAs may work up to two different shifts within a two-week period. Weekends are off, and candidates must be able to work required hours on major holidays.

The initial contract is 26 weeks with extension opportunities available for this ongoing assignment.

Previous experience in a correctional or similar healthcare setting is preferred.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and adhere to safety protocols REQUIRED
• Strong communication skills and professionalism REQUIRED
• Ability to work onsite in Somerset, Pennsylvania REQUIRED
• Ability to work required 8-hour shifts, including major holidays REQUIRED
• Willingness to work up to two different shifts within a two-week period REQUIRED

Preferred

• Experience working in a correctional or similar healthcare setting
• BLS certification
• Experience with shift flexibility and float assignments
• Knowledge of inmate population health needs
• Prior experience in correctional or healthcare environments
