Varsity Assistant Coaches, Indoor Track and Field (Nov. 3, 2026 - Feb. 26, 2027) (2 Positions)

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks part-time Varsity Indoor Track and Field Assistant Coaches for the Winter 2026-2027 season.  These part-time, seasonal, stipended positions begin on November 3, 2026 and end on February 26, 2027, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. The season includes a Thanksgiving break and several other holidays.

Specific qualifications include significant experience in participating in and/or coaching competitive track and field with experience in sprints, jumps, or hurdles.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and collegiate track experience is a plus. Qualified candidates will embrace the unique role of athletics in an independent school setting; have strong organizational skills; embrace and uphold team values (e.g., positive sportsmanship, character, compassion, integrity); have experience in teaching track and field concepts at intermediate to advanced levels; have experience in effectively managing relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents; and be able to attend practices and games. 

Practices occur on weekdays with times varying between 2:45 and 6:30 PM. There are approximately 6-8 meets which will last beyond 6:30 PM.  There may be a few Saturday meets.
