Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Jack Up Driller for a permanent rotational role located in Indonesia. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment on a 6-8 month contract (with possible extensions). The role requires mobilization in early September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise drilling equipment on Jack Up Rigs, ensuring adherence to operational safety standards.
• Lead and manage the rig crew during drilling operations to achieve daily targets efficiently.
• Monitor well-control systems to ensure safe and effective operations, resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the rig's management team for planning, reporting, and maintenance coordination.
• Uphold compliance with OPITO, IWCF, OGUK, and other governing certifications related to drilling activities.
• Proactively assess and mitigate risks during well drilling and completion.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment readiness for any operational demands.
• Promote a culture of safety, diversity, teamwork, and continuous improvement among crew members.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Driller on Jack Up Rigs (candidates without this will not be considered).
• Current and valid certifications:
  • OPITO BOSIET / FOET
  • IWCF Level 4 (Well Control)
  • OGUK medical certificate
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
• Proficient understanding of drilling operations, safety protocols, and well-control strategies.
