DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a Senior Client Services Project Manager supporting the OEM IVD business at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for selected customers and Business Development Managers, ensuring strong customer follow-up, smooth order execution, and effective coordination across internal teams.
This is a customer-facing and sales-support focused role with responsibility for daily coordination of customer requests, including purchase orders, forecasts, shipment follow-up, product samples, documentation, complaints, deviations, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with customers, BDMs, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Technical Support, and Quality to ensure timely responses, accurate information, and a high-quality customer experience.
The role is important in supporting revenue execution, customer satisfaction, CAS score, and delivery of annual AOP goals. You will also help identify recurring customer or process issues and contribute to improvements that make customer-related workflows more efficient and reliable.
This position is well suited for someone with strong customer service experience, commercial understanding, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to take ownership of complex customer requests in a cross-functional environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience from customer service, sales support, customer operations, order management, project coordination, or a similar commercial support role
• Strong ability to manage complex customer inquiries and follow up across multiple internal stakeholders
• Good commercial understanding and ability to support revenue execution and customer satisfaction goals
• Strong communication skills and confidence in working directly with customers and internal business partners
• Ability to coordinate across functions such as Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Technical Support, and Quality
• Structured and detail-oriented way of working, with strong follow-up and ownership
• Ability to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements
• Experience contributing to training, onboarding, or supporting colleagues is beneficial
• Experience with ERP systems, customer portals, MS Office, and other business systems is beneficial
• Experience from life sciences, diagnostics, IVD, pharmaceutical, medical technology, or regulated industries is an advantage
• English required; Norwegian or other additional language skills are beneficial
