Role Overview
The Logistics Compliance team is an independent oversight function dedicated to establishing, driving, and safeguarding regulatory compliance and operational integrity across our end-to-end logistics network. We focus on identifying regulatory risks, auditing fulfillment centers, transport systems, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and establishing robust control mechanisms. Our team serves as an objective trusted advisor to executive leadership, ensuring that all logistics operations conform strictly to national laws, local regulations, and corporate compliance benchmarks.
What You Will Do
- End-to-End Logistics Compliance Audits - Conduct regular and ad-hoc independent on-site audits across fulfillment centers, delivery hubs, and 3PL vendor operations. Identify technical, operational, and regulatory compliance gaps in warehouse operations, fleet management, and logistics service agreements.Conduct regular and ad-hoc on-site audits of construction activities to identify technical and operational risk factors based on site-specific characteristics. Produce comprehensive audit reports to clearly articulate identified risks and impact to leadership.
- Regulatory Intelligence & Policy Governance - Build a centralized monitoring system to track and evaluate evolving local and international logistics regulations (e.g., transportation safety laws, hazardous materials regulations, road traffic/fleet governance, and labor/subcontractor compliance). Interpret these regulatory updates and collaborate with operational teams to implement policy changes.
- Risk Remediation & Compliance Dashboards - Establish and track logistics compliance KPIs (e.g., audit resolution rate, regulatory infraction metrics, 3PL compliance scores). Drive risk remediation programs for escalated compliance issues, providing cross-functional leaders with actionable, best-practice solutions.
- Independent Oversight & Process Innovation - Utilize data analytics and risk-based methodologies to continuously modernize logistics compliance controls. Serve as an objective, independent gatekeeper to prevent operational shortcuts, ensuring logistics growth aligns with legal standards and brand reputation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Approximately 8–10+ years of dedicated experience in logistics compliance, supply chain risk management, transport regulatory oversight, or operational compliance auditing within large-scale logistics, e-commerce, or multinational corporations.
- Deep technical knowledge of localized transportation regulations, dangerous goods (Hazmat) handling, warehouse regulatory standards, and 3PL contractor compliance management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English (capable of producing professional technical/audit reports in both languages).
- Professional certifications in Dangerous Goods Handling (e.g., IATA/IMDG/ADR), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or relevant compliance audit credentials.
- Strong data analytics skills (e.g., Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI) to build risk-monitoring dashboards and audit sampling methodologies.
