What you’ll be able to do:

ADAS MBD Software & RTE Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Autocode generation of MBD software to support development related to ADAS features, including specifications, model and code implementation, verification, and validation. Work with feature owners to understand and review requested requirements and system-level interactions. Support feature owners with model developing activities. Implement MBD software model advisor checks, robustness disciplines and best practices for optimal and efficient code generation. Review model advisor reports, code-generation reports, including test reports and static code analysis, and provide resolution for identified issues. Work with the testing teams to continue and expand on CAE procedures to reduce dependence on vehicle-level testing. Configure and Generate the Classic AUTOSAR Real Time Environment (RTE) in the AUTOSAR authoring tool. Integrate all AUTOSAR application components in the authoring tool. Understand sensor and system performance requirements and limitations, to develop robust designs, identify improvements, recognize trade-offs and make applicable design decisions. Support software signoff, including calibration tuning, for all vehicle programs.

You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1\. Using Matlab and Simulink for software development. 2. Developing embedded software for featuring automative application functionalities. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1\. Analyzing and debugging Simulink models through model reviews, auto generated code reviews, and model advisor checks to root cause issues, and for improvements and optimizations. 2. Using AUTOSAR Authoring tools (ETAS ISOLAR or Vector Davinci) for configuring and generating RTE, integrating Classic AUTOSAR components, and creating AUTOSAR compositions. 2 years of experience with the following skill is required: 1\. Working within Agile/Scrum frameworks to achieve work tasks and objectives through iterative sprints, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 1 year of experience with the following skill is required: 1\. Performing MIL and SIL testing on MBD software to ensure quality and coverage according to standards.

We are offering a salary of $147,077.00 - $192,900.00/yr.
