A Business Development Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer is required for a strategic industrial technology sales role supporting continued growth across North America. This opportunity is suited to an experienced commercial professional with a strong technical sales background who can identify new opportunities, build customer relationships and develop long-term partnerships with OEM and industrial customers.

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding market presence, developing new customer channels and creating commercial opportunities within industrial and mobile equipment markets. This is a hands-on business development position for someone who enjoys opening new opportunities, leading technical conversations and taking ownership of growth initiatives.

The Business Development Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Role:

• Develop and execute business development strategies across the US market
• Identify and secure new opportunities with OEMs, distributors and strategic customers
• Build relationships with industrial manufacturers and key customer stakeholders
• Develop new sales channels and market opportunities
• Manage high-value customer opportunities from initial engagement through to commercial discussions
• Lead technical and commercial conversations with customers, engineers and decision-makers
• Work closely with internal engineering teams to understand customer requirements and develop suitable solutions
• Support quotations, negotiations and opportunity closure
• Provide market insight to help shape future growth plans
• Contribute to the development of scalable sales processes and future territory expansion

Business Development Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Requirements:

• Experience as a Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or similar industrial sales role
• Proven success in technical sales, business development or commercial leadership positions
• Experience developing new business within industrial markets, OEM environments, automation, sensors, instrumentation or related technologies
• Strong ability to build relationships with engineers, purchasing teams, executives and senior stakeholders
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new market opportunities
• Experience managing complex technical and commercial sales discussions
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of business growth activities
• Willingness to travel regularly to support customers and opportunities

Desirable Experience:

• Background within sensor manufacturing, industrial instrumentation, automation, mobile equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics or related technology markets
• Experience developing OEM partnerships or strategic customer relationships
• Experience supporting sales channel development or building new commercial processes
