The Program Manager serves as a key link between our customers and internal teams, managing customer relationships, sales opportunities, and order fulfillment from initial request through delivery. This position acts as a primary point of contact for customers and works closely with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Operations, and other internal departments to provide world-class service and support continued business growth.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and commercially minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and grow sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing timely, professional, and responsive support.
- Manage inbound Requests for Quote (RFQs) and develop competitive pricing strategies to deliver accurate and timely quotations.
- Follow up on open quotes and analyze results to identify trends, improve pricing strategies, and increase sales conversion.
- Partner with Inside and Outside Sales teams to identify opportunities, grow existing accounts, and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Process customer purchase orders and complete the administrative activities necessary to support successful sales and order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with Operations to manage order scheduling, product availability, shipment status, and delivery requirements.
- Communicate proactively with customers throughout the entire order fulfillment process.
- Expedite and track customer orders to ensure products and services are delivered accurately and on time.
- Monitor pending sales opportunities using the Quote Database and other internal systems.
- Maintain accurate customer information, activity, and opportunities within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and customer portals.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements, preferences, and business objectives to provide value-added solutions.
- Provide product knowledge and expertise to help customers identify solutions that meet their needs.
- Source non-stock and buyout products as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor industry trends, end-user activity, and aircraft platform build rates to anticipate customer needs and potential sales opportunities.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and improve systems and processes that increase efficiency, standardize workflows, and support successful project execution.
- Prepare and communicate account updates, forecasts, and performance information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continued sales growth.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in aerospace or a related industry preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, purchasing, account management, customer service, or a related customer-facing role preferred.
