Responsibilities include:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly
- Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, swedish, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques as able
- Maintain a clean and organized area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
- Maintain inventory of massage supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing member concerns effectively
- Support and promote Fitness & Wellness programs by referring members
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience with cupping, trigger point techniques preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Current Virginia Massage Therapist license required
