Description
Who We Are
Launchpad Technologies Inc. is a global technology partner connecting top talent with high-impact projects across North America and beyond. We specialize in Staff Augmentation and product development, helping companies scale with agility while empowering professionals to grow in meaningful, remote-first environments.
About the Role
Launchpad Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Implementation Project Manager to join our Professional Services team and lead software implementation projects for international customers. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who knows how to take ownership of an implementation from kickoff through Go-Live and stabilization, keeping customers, consultants, technical teams, and external partners aligned throughout the process.
You’ll serve as a central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, escalations, and customer expectations while ensuring projects continue moving toward successful delivery.
We’re particularly interested in professionals who have managed software implementations in ERP, financial systems, enterprise applications, or comparable environments. You do not need to be a Functional Consultant or configure the software yourself, but you should understand how software implementation projects work and be comfortable coordinating functional and technical teams.
🗓 Start date: September 2026
📆 Contract type: Contractor, Full-Time, 100% Remote
🌐 Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 4.00 pm PST
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own software implementation projects from kickoff through Go-Live and post-production stabilization.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and priorities.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate work across Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants, developers, QA resources, customer teams, and third-party partners.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and potential delivery impacts.
- Manage scope changes and ensure their impact on timelines, effort, and deliverables is clearly understood and communicated.
- Lead customer status meetings and maintain clear, consistent stakeholder communication.
- Manage customer expectations and facilitate escalations when projects encounter challenges.
- Drive accountability for actions, decisions, deliverables, and follow-ups across project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with shared resources while balancing priorities across different engagements.
- Support successful handover following Go-Live and stabilization.
What You Need to Succeed
Must-haves
- 5+ years of Project Management experience, with substantial experience managing software implementation projects.
- Proven ownership of projects across the implementation lifecycle, from planning/kickoff through Go-Live.
- Strong experience managing scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, changes, and deliverables.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong customer-facing experience, including status communication, expectation management, difficult conversations, and escalations.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize effectively in a dynamic delivery environment.
- Strong collaboration and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain composed, pragmatic, and solution-oriented when projects encounter pressure or ambiguity.
- Advanced English for leading meetings and communicating independently with international customers.
Nice-to-haves
- Project Management experience within ERP, Finance, Accounting, enterprise software, or Professional Services implementations.
- Familiarity with financial software implementation environments.
- Experience working with distributed or international delivery teams.
- PMP, Scrum, Agile, or other Project Management certifications.
A specific ERP, financial platform, certification, or academic degree is not required. We care primarily about demonstrated software implementation delivery experience and strong Project Management judgment.
