About the role
MSS Security is seeking a reliable Casual Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tweed Mall (Tweed Heads - NSW). This position is an excellent opportunity for those with strong customer service skills to begin a career in security.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting internal and external patrols, acting as the first point of contact for retail staff and customers, and providing a strong visible presence to deter and maintain a safe and secure environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a strong, visible security presence to support retailers with loss prevention, safety, and asset protection.
- Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents and escalate when needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and directions to customers as required.
- Observe and promptly report incidents, completing clear and accurate documentation.
- Perform routine patrols throughout the centre, both internally and externally, to maintain safety and security.
Requirements:
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Current NSW Security Licence
- Certificate II in security operations (Or higher)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
- The ability to work a 24*7 rotational roster, including weekends
