We are seeking a Group Maintenance Excellence (Senior) Specialist based at our office in Poznań, Poland, to join the Group Maintenance Excellence team.
Ready to help build a better future for generations to come?
In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.
Join us and make a difference!
Your future team:
Join Group Maintenance Excellence (within Group Operational Excellence & Quality), where we partner with ROCKWOOL factories to boost equipment reliability and drive continuous improvement across the globe. You'll work in a lean, collaborative team tackling real-world maintenance challenges: combining data analysis with hands-on factory floor work. We value curiosity, practical problem-solving, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
What you will be doing:
You'll own the full improvement cycle: from analyzing maintenance data and diagnosing equipment issues to implementing solutions and measuring impact. Working across maintenance, operations, engineering and digital teams, you'll translate data insights into measurable operational and financial wins.
In this role, you will focus on:
- Analyze SAP PM and operational data to spot trends, losses, and quick wins, then dig deeper with on-site diagnostics
- Build implementation roadmaps with clear KPIs and follow-up plans that stick
- Shape group-wide maintenance processes, tools and best practices that scale across sites
- Strengthen SAP PM adoption: from planning and scheduling to preventive maintenance and data quality
- Coach factory teams in maintenance excellence, Lean tools and data-driven problem-solving
- Partner across functions, share lessons learned globally and travel regularly to factories worldwide
What you bring:
You're analytical, collaborative and comfortable everywhere from the factory floor to the boardroom. You communicate with clarity and influence across cultures and levels.
- Ability to travel minimum 50 days per year
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, industrial technology, production, maintenance or related field (equivalent hands-on experience considered)
- Minimum of 1-2 years in maintenance, reliability, asset management, operational excellence or process optimization
- Experience with SAP PM or similar CMMS/EAM platform (SAP S/4HANA and data quality focus is a plus)
- Strong analytical mindset: structure data, work with KPIs, translate findings into business impact
- Familiarity with Lean, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement and preventive maintenance (coaching experience is a bonus)
- Fluent English (written, spoken, presentation-ready) with strong cross-functional influencing skills
- Proactive, structured, adaptable approach with genuine teamwork and intercultural agility
We know that you might not meet every item on this list. You may bring relevant skills and experience that we have not included, and we still encourage you to apply.
