Q201599: Civil 12D Designer

Prepare 3D civil design models using 12d, including earthworks, roading, and three waters, as well as construction drawings and supporting documentation for subdivision and civil infrastructure projects, in line with New Zealand standards and industry practices.

Salary Range: 35,000 - 45,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D civil designs and models using 12d Model.
• Prepare subdivision and land development designs.
• Design earthworks, roading, and three waters infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed construction and design drawings.
• Produce accurate technical documentation.
• Review designs and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Apply New Zealand design standards and industry practices.
• Identify design issues and provide practical solutions.
• Coordinate design information with project teams.
• Support projects from design through to documentation.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, engineering calculations, and technical drawings.
• Strong proficiency in 12d Model.
• Experience in land development and civil infrastructure.
• Strong experience with subdivisions, earthworks, roading, and three waters.
• Knowledge of New Zealand design standards and practices.
• Ability to produce accurate civil design drawings and documentation.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
