What you’ll do:

As an IT Engineer Intern within TJX Global IT, you will learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic global IT organization, while applying your engineering knowledge to solve real-world technology challenges.  TJX's global IT organizational structure means opportunities and problem solving are not limited to where you sit. Depending on your interests, expertise, and our business needs, you could focus on one of several possible pathways:

/ Platform Engineering               / Data and Automation Solutions

/ Security Engineering                / Software Development                         / Product Configuration

As an Engineer Intern, your responsibilities may include:

• Hands-on training to facilitate learning
• Group project in collaboration with other interns and business leaders to contribute to IT strategy while solving a business challenge
• Collaborate with experienced technology engineers and specialists globally in an Agile environment to identify innovative technology solutions for all aspects of our global business
• Design, code and test solutions that make our platforms even better
• Learn about TJX’s business and technologies
• Review and evolve current processes
• Work autonomously and collaborate in groups to tackle challenges, advance projects, and complete assignments

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for students who are highly motivated self-starters and who possess the ability to prioritize effectively, be proactive and flexible, and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current juniors
• Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Technical area
  • Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related major
• Genuine interest in an Engineer career at TJX

Application & Interview Process & Timeline:

Application deadline: September 16, 2026. Resumes will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates selected to move onto the next stage will be sent instructions to complete a HireVue, one-way virtual interview. We recommend completing the HireVue within one week if possible, as those will also be reviewed on a rolling basis. Interviews, for those moving forward will be held virtually in October.

With our corporate offices located in Framingham and Marlborough, MA, reliable transportation is required as TJX is not easily accessible to public transportation. A variable work schedule is part of the role based on the needs of the business.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. 

This position has a starting pay range of $25 to $26 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
