Senior Donor Relations Officer
International Nonprofit
REMOTE in Florida - Southwest Florida preferred (Naples, Sarasota, Fort Myers, etc.)
Salary Range Gladly Provided Upon Request
Terrific new Senior Donor Relations Officer ("Sr. DRO") with an international nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children. The Sr. DRO will operate remotely and be based in Florida.
The Sr. DRO will be responsible for the full lifecycle of fundraising in Florida, securing major gifts at the $5k+ level. In this role, there will be a focus on elevating existing donors to higher levels of giving and expanding overall fundraising efforts in the state.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospects capable of giving $5,000+ in the state of Florida
- Research, identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for the organization
- Foster strong relationships with current donors and new supporters
- Develop and execute multi-year fundraising strategies
- Maintain donor records in Salesforce
- Attend organization events, as needed
- Travel to meet with donors and prospects, as needed
Qualifications:
- Approximately 3 to 5+ years of major gifts fundraising experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrated track record of securing major gifts
- Ability to connect with donors while conveying the organization's mission and work
- Self-starter and capable of working autonomously
- Driver's License is required
- Ability to travel as needed
