Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.
Join JLL's Sourcing & Procurement team as a UK & I Sourcing Manager, where you'll lead strategic sourcing activities for our data centre UK & I client portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive measurable savings, shape supplier strategy, and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders. You'll own end-to-end strategic procurement planning, RFP management, bid analysis, contract management, and risk management while ensuring efficient, cost-effective supplier management tailored to the unique demands of mission-critical data centre infrastructure. Working closely with client stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams, your contribution will directly impact the reliability and operational excellence of data centre operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoy turning commercial complexity into clear outcomes, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Implement the procurement strategy set out by the Procurement Lead that supports the short-term and long-term needs of the clients and the data centre vertical.
- Create and execute client Sourcing Plans in alignment with client priorities and JLL’s wider S&P strategy.
- Own contract compliance, maintaining 95%+ adherence to negotiated supplier Service Contracts, including timely updates for scope, asset, or pricing changes.
- Deliver committed savings targets through strategic sourcing, tenders, and supplier negotiations, with accurate tracking via the sourcing tool, Jaggaer, serving as the super-user. Develop forward-looking savings forecasts based on planned activities.
- Lead annual supplier pricing forecasts to support client budget planning.
- Develop the supply chain to meet business and client needs, identifying growth opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, resolving issues proactively to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Conduct regular performance assessments via JLL processes and collaborate with the Vendor Data Management (VDM) team to maintain full document compliance (insurance, HSSEQ, accreditations, contract amendments).
- Provide performance reporting (sourcing activity, supplier performance, QBRs) on a monthly/quarterly basis; present reports and updates to clients and internal stakeholders as required.
- Professionally represent JLL in client meetings, industry events and forums, maintaining the company’s standards and reputation. Serve as deputy for the Procurement Lead as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing & procurement, engineering, operations, and finance, to align strategy with business objectives.
- Proactively manage supply chain risks and embed responsible procurement practices, including sustainability and social priorities.
- Support audits, training initiatives, and maintain current Policies and Procedures with annual reviews to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging market opportunities to make informed decisions.
- Support additional strategic initiatives aligned with business priorities.
