Responsibilities:
Partner with Plant Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to plant management on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and talent development.
- Support the implementation of HR strategies that align with business objectives and operational goals.
Lead HR Operations
- Oversee daily HR activities for a workforce of up to 100 employees.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR processes.
Drive Employee Engagement and Relations
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Address employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness, including conflict resolution, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
- Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.
Support Talent Development
- Identify training and development opportunities that strengthen workforce capabilities.
- Partner with managers to build employee skills, support career growth, and promote continuous learning.
Champion Performance Management
- Guide leaders through performance reviews, talent discussions, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Help develop high-performing teams that contribute to operational success.
Ensure Compliance
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Promote programs that support employee well-being.
Utilize HR Data to Drive Decisions
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting.
- Analyze workforce metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, and employee engagement, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
- 6+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and HR policies.
- Experience using HR systems and payroll tools for efficient HR data management.
- Ability to manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and lead employee engagement programs.
