Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Placement Specialist to join a growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in marketing and placing new commercial insurance business, collaborating with Risk Advisors, and managing carrier relationships. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $98,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
- Market and place new commercial insurance business.
- Collaborate with Risk Advisors to develop market and coverage strategies.
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate terms to secure optimal coverage.
- Review and validate carrier submissions, analyze quotes, and create marketing proposals.
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions, quotes, and proposals.
- Transition sold accounts to Account Managers and support sales/service teams.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
- Mentor and support newer team members in the marketing department.
- Attend training sessions and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate records in agency management systems.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensure:
- Active Property & Casualty License required.
- Professional insurance designations encouraged and supported.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial insurance, with a focus on marketing and placement.
- Proven experience in carrier negotiations, coverage analysis, and quoting.
- Strong background in customer service within the insurance industry.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in agency management software and Microsoft Office.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
