SCS Engineers is seeking an ambitious Air Quality Professional to join our Southwest team and contribute to exciting projects involving air permitting, compliance, air dispersion modeling, emissions testing, greenhouse gas inventories, and environmental risk assessments. You'll work on challenging real-world projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and gain valuable experience in one of the nation's leading environmental consulting firms. You can be hybrid in our Long Beach Headquarters. Other SCS Southwest offices will also be considered.
How you can make an impact
- A mixture of office and field work expected, with an emphasis on office work
- Some work-related travel will be necessary but usually limited to day and short trips.
- Assistance in air permitting and compliance work, with focus on air dispersion modeling and risk assessment.
- Assistance in air quality and greenhouse gas-related tasks, including GHG emission inventories and verification.
- Air testing and monitoring
- Document preparation, calculations, and proposals related to the above-listed work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in physical sciences, engineering, or a related major required
- 3 months to 5 years of related environmental air experience required
- HAZWOPER training completed and up to date desired, but willing to provide training upon hire
- Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations required
Pay Range
USD $70,500.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.Additional Information
