Bridges Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst/Epidemiologist.

 

This position is part-time, non-benefited, 17.5 hours per week. 

Salary: $40.00-$42.50 per hour, commensurate of experience. 

 

Purpose & Position Overview

The Epidemiologist/Data Analyst leads the data-driven strategy and project evaluation for community health initiatives operating under the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). Reporting directly to the Project Director, this role is responsible for designing and conducting comprehensive needs assessments, identifying target populations, and evaluating substance abuse risk factors.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Project Director, design and plan the Needs Assessment within the Strategic Prevention Framework.
  • Define and identify population groups for study and evaluation of risk
  • Define and oversee data
  • Conduct statistical analysis of results and supervise preparation of Needs
  • Conduct research to support Strategic Planning and support production of Strategic Prevention Plan.

  • Work with staff and volunteers in local communities to produce required progress, community, and annual reports as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies

Master's Degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine, or related field required.

Knowledge of or experience with Strategic Prevention Framework is required.

Experience in substance abuse education, prevention or public health is strongly preferred.

Computer proficiency is required, including knowledge of SPSS, Statistica, SPARS, and Survey Monkey.
