    • Steady-state studies

    • Dynamic simulations

    • Electromagnetic transient (EMT) studies

    • Real-time simulations

  • Utilize PSS®E, PSCAD™, RTDS®, and/or OPAL-RT® for modeling and simulation.

  • Develop and support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments.

  • Integrate operational, planning, asset, and measurement data into digital twin and analytical applications.

  • Evaluate emerging grid technologies and develop technical recommendations.

  • Support research projects, pilot deployments, and technology demonstrations.

  • Collaborate with utilities, universities, national laboratories, research organizations, and technology vendors.

  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, publications, and project documentation.

  • Present technical findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university required.

  • Strong knowledge of electric power system analysis, modeling, simulation, and operation.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and applying power system digital twins.

  • Proficiency with PSS®E and PSCAD™.

  • Experience with RTDS® and/or OPAL-RT® for real-time simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

  • Experience conducting steady-state, dynamic, EMT, and real-time simulation studies.

  • Experience integrating operational, planning, asset, and measurement data into modeling and analytical environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s concentration in Power Systems, Electric Energy Systems, Controls, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
