Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive the design and development of enterprise applications supporting Wealth Management.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot and strong Angular experience. The ideal candidate can independently lead complex initiatives, make sound technical decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Angular.
Own complex technical initiatives from solution design through implementation and production support.
Contribute to application architecture and technology decisions with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate with product, architecture, business, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership, conduct code and design reviews, and mentor engineers.
Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding, code quality, and observability.
Drive AI adoption across design, development, and engineering automation, establishing practical standards and use cases that improve developer productivity, delivery velocity, and software quality.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in production support as needed.
Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to modernize applications and improve engineering efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP services, and microservices.
5+ years of Angular/full stack development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, design patterns, APIs, and distributed systems.
Experience with SQL, relational databases, and enterprise application integrations.
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, source control, and DevOps practices.
Demonstrated ability to independently design and deliver complex enterprise solutions.
Strong technical leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services, wealth management, or other enterprise-scale environments.
Experience with reporting technologies such as JasperReports.
Practical experience applying AI-assisted engineering tools to software design, development, and automation.
Experience with MQ/Kafka, NoSQL databases, and distributed caching.
Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern deployment platforms.
