Summary:
The Levies and Garnishments Associate supports critical operations, including intake, processing, special projects, coaching, and payments. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with a background in bank processing to mitigate financial risk and ensure process accuracy. The ideal candidate will champion standardization, elevate case processing quality, and act as a self-starter who thrives in collaborative, high-pressure environments while proactively building stakeholder trust.
Work Set up: Onsite. Back Office. Candidates must be amenable to a night shift schedule.
General Responsibilities:
Exercise exceptional communication skills and optimize contact with attorneys/agencies, stakeholders and external vendors/banks
Manage complaints and escalations which may result in contacting third parties as necessary to remediate
Owns reconciliation of money movement and mitigates financial losses
Completes monthly quality reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and critical business standards
Participates in special projects as needed including technology and automation enhancements
Supports overall management of operational teams and processing of documents as needed to accommodate work volumes
Drive process optimization by challenging designs for scalability, documenting gaps, and supporting continuous improvement.
Uphold the review of processes to measure accuracy
Support the modernization of the bank case management system
Ability to handle other duties as assigned by management and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic Qualifications:
Two (2) years college level education or equivalent work experience
At least two (2) years experience in a call center environment or any equivalent work experience
At least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Strong attention to detail , good communication and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2- years of customer service or banking experience
Experience in deposit operations , bank account servicing ,ACH , Tax Levies/ Liens , Paralegal , legal orders, payment operations, account restraints or back office financial services is preferred
Experience in U.S. banking processes is an advantage
