EMEA Service Supply Chain Planner

Description -

Job scope/summary:

The scope of the SSC Print Planning team is to plan, source and deploy across EMEA the right printing commercial and consumer parts to our customers: Break-Fix (Onsite/Channel/MPS) / Part sales (RPB) / MPS supplies.

The Supply Chain Planner will manage a given portfolio /product line; he/she will plan inventory for EMEA Network for the products assigned to drive high level of availability within the inventory limitations, minimizing SC planning related costs.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

Planning activity for a specific portfolio:

  • End-to-End Planning: Maintain part availability to support customer needs: Calculate the needs for spare parts (or Whole Unit Exchange), place appropriate supplier Purchase Orders and monitor the planned deliveries from suppliers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory in EMEA Network (Central warehouse, Virtual Hubs, Country Hubs) by defining inventory targets for all EMEA locations.
  • Lifecycle Management: Work on problems of diverse complexity and scope (New Product Intro, Life-Time Buys, Rolls, Upgrades, others)
  • Customer Delivery Performance: Analyze planning performance of the products assigned; timely spot deviations and launch effective mitigation plan

Finance/Cost and service level  accountability:

  • Manage Good Inventory Scrap costs (Excess & Obsolescence) –
  • Minimize Planning-driven costs (Inbound, exception, airfreight, rebalancing, reverse)
  • Develop Finance / Cost acumen linked to planning activity, understand the cost impacts and balance with SL expected results
  • Bring creative ideas to improve Cost and/or SL. Develop data analysis capability in order to prioritize actions that will strongly influence results.

Key deliverables/accountabilities:

  • Inventory: Gross inventory
  • Operational : Material availability & delivery performance (LOF, Fill Rate, Backlog)
  • Finance: Portfolio cost optimization (E&O, airfreight, rebalancing, reverse ...)

  • Service Supply chain teams (i.e. Logistics, Make, PLM)
  • SCOAH
  • Field & Channel
  • RPB
  • Category and MPS

External:

  • HP Suppliers

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in supply chain or math - related subject or Engineering
  • 4-7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning or other roles with strong analytical aspects are critical advantage

Other requirements:

  • Fluent in English language
  • Supporting EMEA time zone
