Tech Specialist 2 — Fabric and Integrations
Staff Person:
Reports To: Reporting & Integration Manager
No Direct Reports.
Participates in Following Meetings/Teams:
Reporting and Integration Team
empowOR, Orrick, CADS, and CDTF Dev Teams (as relevant to Fabric and integrations)
Data Migration Teams as needed
Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
Outcome: Customers' custom forms and workflows function reliably in Laserfiche.
Responsibilities:
Build new Laserfiche forms and applications; create business processes and forms with field rules
Fix Laserfiche Forms issues — identify where in the overall process the issue sits and resolve what can be done in applications.empowORbyCsst.com
Add CSS and JavaScript to Laserfiche forms where more complex behavior is required
Groom and prioritize requests for changes to the Stored Proceedures that deliver data to forms. Ensure Reporting and Integrations Manager has information and deadlines to coordinate with Engineering Team.
Provide ongoing Laserfiche support and troubleshooting
Outcome: Fabric infrastructure is healthy and performing within capacity.
Responsibilities:
Monitor Fabric capacity and workspace performance; surface degradation or approaching-capacity conditions to the Manager
Support Fabric workspace configuration and routine maintenance
Assist with performance investigation on Fabric-hosted reporting and data assets
Outcome: Fabric and ADF data pipelines run reliably.
Responsibilities:
Support, monitor, and troubleshoot Fabric and Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and scheduled jobs
Deliver minor enhancements to ADF pipelines
Escalate pipeline issues that require engineering or DevOps involvement
Outcome: Integrations and module setups are configured correctly for customers.
Responsibilities:
Assist with module setup, including access configuration for SFTP, CADS, and Laserfiche
Coordinate with the DevOps Senior Manager on SFTP file and folder setup as directed
Outcome: Releases in the team's domain are well-tested.
Responsibilities:
QA bug tasks that this specialist did not perform the development work on
Test the bug scenarios and ancillary functions in the QA portal; leave notes in the task discussion and follow the QA pass/fail process
Outcome: Data migrations are delivered when the team takes them on.
Responsibilities:
Implement data migration work when appropriate — reshaping and loading data under the migration plan led by the Manager
Outcome: CSST strategic work is supported through various projects.
Responsibilities:
Participate in strategic-plan projects as needed
Required Skills & Knowledge
Familiarity with Laserfiche forms and workflows (or an equivalent form/workflow platform), including basic CSS/JavaScript for form customization
Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and data-pipeline tooling such as Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Understanding of data integration patterns — SFTP, scheduled jobs, and file-based imports
Able to monitor infrastructure health and performance and escalate appropriately
Sound triage judgment in a support-driven environment — able to assess urgency and the appropriate escalation path
Able to follow a QA plan and QA within the team's domain
Some scripting experience (Python or a similar language) a plus
Comfortable working cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and the reporting team
