Job Summary
Our client, a luxury hotel in Oysterbay Dar Es Salaam, is looking for 15 professional Waiters/Waitresses to deliver outstanding dining experiences by providing exceptional customer service, taking guest orders accurately, and ensuring food and beverages are served promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage options.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas before, during, and after service.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
- Follow hotel service standards and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Work closely with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure smooth service.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or resort.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
