Aloft Beachwood is now hiring a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor in Beachwood, Ohio. The Housekeeping Supervisor are responsible for ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of the guest rooms, public areas, linen closets, and laundry areas in a cost‐effective manner while assisting the Executive Housekeeper with department operations.

Pay: Dependent on experience

The right candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a cleaning position
• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous experience in a hospitality setting

Our Housekeeping Supervisor will:

• Supervise all department personnel
• Provide clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff in details of work
• Provide staffing, training, counseling, and performance reviews for housekeeping department.
• Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by hotel
• Product management; inventorying and purchasing
• Expense management
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Monitor and enforce proper and safe use of chemicals and supplies.
• Monitor and enforce proper equipment operation
• Direct department training programs including Orientation, New Hire Training, Certifications, ongoing training, and Performance Evaluations.
• Clean and inspect guest rooms and public spaces
• Develop and execute projects including identifying the necessary tasks and deadlines, assigning them to appropriate people, and following up as needed to ensure effective and timely completion.
• Provide security for guests, employees, and property adhering to security procedures for guest room keys and master keys.
