We empower employees to take on challenging assignments and roles with an elevated level of responsibility in our agile working environment. Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.

Position Overview:

Polaris is seeking a Digital Product Manager to advance end-to-end supply chain planning technology capabilities across the enterprise. Partnering across business and technology functions, this role drives planning excellence, improves decision-making, and delivers measurable outcomes through scalable digital products and data-driven insights. You will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and value delivery of digital planning capabilities supporting Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning processes. The role provides leadership to matrixed technical teams and coordinates work across manufacturing sites, enterprise systems, integration teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to formulate and execute the digital strategy, product vision, and roadmap for enterprise supply chain planning capabilities.

• Own product prioritization, backlog health, dependencies, delivery commitments, risks, budgets, and expected business outcomes.

• Gather and synthesize planning needs across demand planning, supply and inventory planning, plant scheduling, and technical teams through process analysis, data, workshops, and voice-of-customer feedback.

• Translate business requirements into product capabilities, user stories, acceptance criteria, process designs, and prioritized backlog items aligned with the product roadmap.

• Lead day-to-day product decisions and backlog refinement for advanced planning systems, supply chain and manufacturing capabilities, integrations, reporting, and supporting applications.

• Coordinate product feedback, release planning, and implementation readiness across manufacturing sites, ERP workstreams, integration teams, application support partners, vendors, and implementation partners.

• Provide leadership to matrixed teams of developers, analysts, architects, vendors, and implementation partners, guiding solution design and removing delivery blockers.

• Participate in iteration planning, cross-product planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, testing, and implementation readiness activities.

• Maintain and communicate a current roadmap that clearly conveys priorities, tradeoffs, delivery timing, and expected business value while managing stakeholder expectations.

• Monitor product performance, adoption, support trends, data quality, business KPIs, and user feedback to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities.

• Evaluate the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends, and evolve digital product methodologies and tools as appropriate.

• Ensure delivered capabilities meet acceptance criteria and expectations for quality, scalability, reliability, and operational supportability.

Desired Competencies:

• Business Acumen: You understand how your work impacts financial performance, operational efficiency, and organizational goals, and you make decisions with the broader business context in mind.

• Collaboration: You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.

• Technical / Functional Expertise: You apply the required technical or professional knowledge to perform your role effectively and stay current within your area of expertise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or the equivalent in work experience.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience working with technology and business processes that support supply chain planning organizations.

• Strong understanding of product management principles, including product vision, roadmap development, prioritization, and value realization.

• Deep knowledge of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning processes, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, scenario analysis, and end-to-end supply chain planning concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to align digital product investments with business objectives and enterprise planning strategies.

• Experience using data, analytics, and performance metrics to support decisions, translate business requirements into digital capabilities, and drive continuous improvement.

• Strong influencing, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and executive leadership teams.

• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, applying change management principles, and supporting organizational adoption of new capabilities.

• Knowledge of planning platforms, ERP systems, data integration, enterprise architecture concepts, and Agile product delivery environments.

• Experience with JDA or Blue Yonder planning systems, Snowflake, Azure, and ERP platforms such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.

• Ability to work within a hybrid model consisting of three days in the office and two days working from home, with onsite days determined by management and subject to change based on business needs.

• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
