The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes receiving, storing, distributing, and staging materials and products using a forklift and other material handling equipment. This role ensures continuous production flow by maintaining adequate supply levels at supporting shipping and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move locate, stack and count materials.

· Load and unload trucks, inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage, and complete necessary documentation.

· Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between storage, production, and shipping areas.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle count as needed.

· Stage material for production according to work orders and schedules.

· Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

· Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to support workflow and minimize downtime.

· Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance (e.g., forklift pre-checks)

· Assist in packaging, labeling and palletizing finished products as required.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· 1 – 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

· Valid forklift certification with demonstrated safe operating history.

· Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in fast paced, physically demanding environment.

· Basic math, reading, and computer skills (e.g., data entry, inventory systems)

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
