Job Title: Industrial Finance Senior Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Finance
Location: Bonifacio Corporate Center, Taguig (Hybrid)
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Be a co-pilot to the business, partnering mainly with the Supply Chain function (Sourcing Unit Managers and Manufacturing Executives) to drive value and bring positive impact to business strategy and performance
Involves developing insights, devising long-term strategic plans, and driving actions with the business to help achieve business targets
Focuses largely on driving value through supply chain production and factory costs strategies
Establish controls and governance, ensuring all financials are properly budgeted for, tracked, analyzed and accounted for
Involves working with and collaboration with the internal finance teams, business partners, and senior leaders across all functions (mainly Supply Chain and Finance)
JOB SUMMARY
Business Partnering (55%)
Review and undertake major performance interventions (where needed) to drive improvements in waste, cost, investment and working capital performance to close gaps to targets
Support the Factory Leadership team in managing performance
Drive decision making around resource allocation and budget setting
Support the Finance Excellence Team to influence at the key decision gates of innovation business cases, capital proposals and sourcing studies
Make decisions around significant adjustments to carry into the financial forecast
Stewardship / Controls (25%)
Identify major risks and opportunities in supply chain and factory operations and drive mitigation and opportunistic actions
Work with partners to devise factory savings opportunities and track, validate and hold partners accountable for actions
Ensure proper controls and governance surrounding costs, factory fixed assets, stock inventory (verification on site) and material wastes
Assist with month end activities and ensure proper cost governance
Project Management (20%)
Finance lead for major factory projects such as capacity expansion and transformation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience in driving P&L performance improvements (e.g. closing gaps vs. target through driving actions) and holding others accountable for committed actions (particularly peers and senior leadership)
Experience in presenting to and communicating with senior Finance and non-Finance stakeholders (Business Partners and peers)
Experience in Accounting and risk awareness around financial controls
