Role Summary
The Field Service Representative performs planned maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and component replacement activities on industrial turbine and package systems at customer sites. The role is primarily field-based and involves extensive travel. Work is carried out according to established maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to maintenance protocols and work instructions.
- Replace consumable components such as oil, gas, and air filters etc.
- Inspect equipment condition and document findings using photographs and digital reporting tools.
- Verify the correct operation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Perform borescope inspections and record inspection results.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment failures and out-of-service events.
- Replace faulty parts and components as required.
- Support major component exchanges, including turbines, gearboxes, and generators during scheduled or corrective maintenance.
- Use company software, service tools, and digital systems to record maintenance activities and findings.
- Follow all site safety rules and company procedures while working independently or as part of a team.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and electrical safety.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Ability to interpret maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of turbine control systems, software applications, and PLC functionality.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting using standard diagnostic tools and procedures.
- Confident use of Windows computers and enterprise software applications.
- Ability to create accurate service reports and maintenance records.

- Clear communication with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- English language proficiency (spoken and written).

Qualifications & Experience
- Vocational education, technical apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or industrial maintenance.
- Relevant field service, maintenance, or industrial operations experience is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Field-based role with approximately 75% travel.
- Work is primarily performed at customer locations, including industrial and power generation facilities.
- May involve extended workdays, and occasional emergency call-outs depending on customer requirements.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule several times per year, including remote monitoring of customer equipment and support for troubleshooting activities.
Base Minimum Pay:
€48,797.00
