Purpose of the Role
- Support the development and evaluation of innovative products and technologies for Kemin Animal Nutrition & Health through hands-on laboratory research and scientific investigation.
- Generate high-quality scientific data to support product innovation, technical problem-solving, and business growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary R&D projects focused on improving animal health, nutrition, performance, and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and/or molecular biology following established protocols and scientific best practices.
- Perform microbiological testing, microbial culture maintenance, cell culture assays, molecular biology analyses, and analytical chemistry evaluations.
- Support the development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays.
- Evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies, and scientific concepts for animal nutrition and health applications.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods to support sound scientific conclusions.
- Prepare technical reports, study summaries, presentations, and scientific documentation, including recommendations that support project objectives and decision-making.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and workspaces in a safe, organized, and compliant manner while contributing to continuous improvement and scientific excellence.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Animal Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on laboratory experience with practical exposure to microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, molecular biology, and statistical data analysis.
- Strong laboratory, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passion for scientific research, continuous learning, and translating research outcomes into practical solutions for the animal nutrition and health industry.
Demonstrates genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for science, innovation, discovery, and the principles behind research findings.
Takes ownership of assigned work and delivers accurate, reliable results with strong attention to detail, scientific integrity, data quality, and accountability.
