What We’re Looking For:
Strong Hold is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support efficient transportation, storage, and delivery of goods in our manufacturing environment. In this role, you will help manage the receipt of materials and the shipment and delivery of products, ensuring timely and safe transportation. You will coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and production staff to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipping from the production floor, including paperwork management, order completeness, and truck loading activities.
- Assist with the receiving process, verifying receipt accuracy against purchase orders, ensuring items are properly stored in their designated locations and entered into inventory.
- Prepare shipping orders, bills of lading, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth inbound and outbound logistics.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve day-to-day issues related to logistics operations, working collaboratively with others in the supply chain to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be strongly considered (no degree required).
- 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour training completed (dock safety focus preferred).
- RCRA hazardous waste training (or ability to complete shortly after hire).
