Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in OLDSMAR, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining professional interactions with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
- Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
