What We’re Looking For:
A dynamic and strategic Director of Group Sales - Midwest who will lead and grow a diverse portfolio of corporate and association group business across national markets. In this role, you will serve as a key revenue driver and brand ambassador, blending innovative sales strategies with thoughtful relationship‑building to elevate the hotel’s market presence.
As a collaborative leader, you will partner closely with internal teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring exceptional client experiences and sustained revenue growth. You will bring a forward‑thinking mindset, strong business acumen, and a commitment to excellence that reflects the service culture of Loews Hotels & Co.

What You’ll Do:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute comprehensive group sales strategies aligned with quarterly and annual rooms and food & beverage revenue goals.
Analyze market trends, performance metrics, and client insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Maintain a strong and balanced pipeline of business to support year‑round demand.
Business Development
Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate and association group business within assigned national markets.
Strengthen existing accounts through proactive engagement, customized solutions, and consistent follow‑up.
Represent the hotel in networking events, industry functions, and sales missions to expand brand visibility.
Client Experience & Market Engagement
Plan and conduct impactful site inspections that showcase the hotel’s offerings and service excellence.
Create and present compelling, customized proposals that align client needs with the hotel’s value proposition.
Ensure contracts and agreements reflect both client expectations and Loews Hotels & Co standards.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner cross‑functionally with operations, catering, revenue management, and marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Other Responsibilities
Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Master’s degree in business or hospitality management is a plus.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field.
Experience using sales and CRM systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, or similar hotel sales platforms.
Working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, SynXis, or comparable systems.
Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) designation is preferred but not required.
