Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Digital Assurance Intern, you will engage with client support teams to gain exposure to auditing methodologies and compliance standards. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a dynamic environment where you can observe and participate in projects that enhance your understanding of financial reporting and decision-making processes. This role offers a unique chance to learn from experienced professionals who uphold transparency and integrity, allowing you to focus on developing your skills and contributing to the team's success.

As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, while observing professional work environments. You will have the opportunity to apply a learning mindset, actively listen, and ask questions to deepen your understanding of PwC's practices. In this role, you will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, helping you build commercial awareness and appreciate diverse perspectives. You are encouraged to take initiative and produce quality work that adds value for our clients, paving the way for future opportunities within the firm.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting assessments of financial reporting and decision-making processes
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to uphold transparency and compliance
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
- Assisting in the evaluation of internal controls and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to project goals and team success
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and commercial awareness
- Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns
- Collaborating with team members to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of audit processes

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
