Software Engineer

Responsible for the development, modification and maintenance of software applications with limited scope. Will work with other teams within the IT function for assigned projects and is primarily focused on operational execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, maintain and enhance software applications under supervision of a manager or technical lead.

Participate in other application development projects, as assigned.

Perform other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's                  FIELD OF STUDY:  Technology/Engineering, or similar degree and/or experience

EXPERIENCE:  2-5 years of professional experience; relevant programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, HTML, SQL) and Eclipse based IDE, Windows OS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

• Strong adherence to guidelines
• Ability to identify and resolve problems
• Ability to multitask and take on additional responsibility 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:  Full stack development experience, JS based rich web UI framework – React.js, event driven and microservice architecture experience, AWS or other public cloud services experience.
 

AWS components experience: lambdas, step function, SES, RDS, Secret Manager.

Terraform Expertise: Strong command of the Terraform CLI, modules, workspaces, and state management

CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML. Source Control: Manage code repositories, branching strategies, and pull request workflows via Azure Repos and Git.
