Work Flexibility: Hybrid

What you will do

  • Lead and oversee the Fixed Assets team (approximately 8 FTEs), supporting performance, development, and achievement of business objectives.

  • Manage the fixed asset sub-ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

  • Drive month-end and year-end close activities in compliance with Stryker policies, SOX requirements, and US GAAP.

  • Monitor Capital-in-Progress (CIP) balances and ensure timely capitalization and accurate reporting.

  • Prepare and support internal and external reporting of Fixed Asset balances and related activities.

  • Maintain robust internal controls, process documentation, and audit readiness to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process simplification, standardization, and implementation of audit action plans.

  • Partner with finance teams, senior leadership, and external auditors to provide guidance on Fixed Assets policies and support key business initiatives.

What you need

Required:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in General Ledger and Fixed Asset Accounting within a multinational organization (preferably US-based) or Shared Services Center environment

  • Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial reporting requirements is required

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • Familiar with USGAAP, Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or internal control concepts

  • Ability to navigate several ERP environments

Preferred:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) or active progress toward certification is strongly preferred

  

 

Poland Pay Ranges:

  • Poland: zł191.100 - zł318.500 PLN Annual

The compensation information posted for this role may be presented as a salary range or a fixed amount depending on the role.  In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for incentive compensation (such as bonus and/or commissions where applicable), along with Stryker’s comprehensive benefits package.
