What You Will Do
Investly is Fidelity Canada's investing platform, providing investors with the tools, technology, and resources to make and manage their own investment decisions.
The Registered Representative, Investly, is responsible for supporting investors by providing account servicing, trading support, platform education, and regulatory oversight throughout the client lifecycle. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients and prospects, helping them navigate the platform, understand available products and services, and efficiently manage their accounts.
The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with CIRO requirements, securities regulations, and Fidelity policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Experience and Business Impact
- Serve as a registered point of contract for Investly clients through phone, email, chat, and secure digital messaging
- Support investor activation, engagement retention account inquiries, trading processes, platform navigation and adoption, and self- service capabilities
- Explain account features, order types, trading functionality, fees and available platform tools
- Escalate complex client concerns to internal teams
- Assist clients in funding accounts and transferring assets from other financial institutions
- Trading Expertise & Account Support
- Serve as a subject matter expert on trading processes and execution-related inquiries
- Assist clients with understanding trade execution processes, order entry procedures, and account functionality
- Support inquiries related to equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and other approved investment products
- Assist with account funding, withdrawals, transfers, account opening requirements, and registered account administration.
- Investigate and resolve trade-related inquiries, settlement questions, and operational exceptions.
- Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities
- Exercise sound judgment in reviewing client activity and identifying potential suitability, conduct, or regulatory concerns.
- Maintain registration requirements and comply with all CIRO, securities regulatory, anti-money laundering (AML), privacy, and internal compliance obligations.
- Perform Know Your Client (KYC) updates and account maintenance reviews where applicable.
- Identify, document, and escalate compliance concerns, suspicious activity, and regulatory issues.
- Investor Education
- Educate clients on platform functionality, trading tools, research resources, and investing features.
- Digital Platform Advocacy
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Investly’s digital capabilities by advocating for the voice of the client
What We Are Looking For
- University degree required, or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in brokerage, investing, wealth management, securities operations, or financial services required
- Registered Representative with CIRO required, along with successful completion of the CSC/CPH
- Knowledge of Canadian securities markets, order types, and trading practices required
- Experience supporting retail investors in a client-facing environment required
- Familiarity with registered accounts (RRSP, TFSA, FHSA) and non-registered accounts required
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting an online brokerage/self-directed investing platform
- Bilingualism in English and French
- Completion of additional industry designations such as CIM, PFP, CFP

For this role, your total rewards include
• Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $68,000 to $85,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
• RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
