The Director, Community Expansion & Operations leads the Community Expansion marketing team responsible for developing customer-focused strategies, resources, capabilities, and solutions that enable the operationalization and broad-scale adoption of TECVAYLI and TALVEY in the U.S. market.

This leader shapes community market development and go-to-market strategy by identifying clinical, operational, economic, educational, and workflow barriers to adoption and translating customer and market insights into scalable solutions. The Director connects strategy to execution across community oncology accounts, customer-facing teams, and enterprise partners, with accountability for measurable improvements in treatment readiness, customer engagement, market expansion, patient access, and business performance.

The role requires strong enterprise leadership across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Pricing, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Legal, Regulatory, and Healthcare Compliance partners. The Director also builds the capabilities of customer-facing teams and ensures that programs, resources, and engagement approaches are relevant, compliant, executable, and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

Community Expansion, Market Development & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Lead development and execution of the U.S. community expansion strategy for TECVAYLI and TALVEY, with applicability to future hematology assets as business needs evolve.

  • Shape community-focused go-to-market models, including customer segmentation, behavioral targeting, account prioritization, engagement approaches, and activation pathways.

  • Identify growth opportunities across community oncology settings and translate market dynamics into clear strategic choices, investment priorities, and execution plans.

  • Partner with brand and portfolio leaders to connect community expansion priorities to product positioning, lifecycle strategy, launch readiness, and overall business objectives.

  • Convert strategic frameworks into practical execution across customer-facing teams, including account-level priorities, next-best messages or actions, and measurable adoption objectives.

Community Activation & Operational Readiness

  • Lead initiatives that expand treatment capacity, activate new sites of care, and increase utilization within operationally ready community accounts.

  • Identify and address barriers related to treatment workflows, infrastructure, staffing, care coordination, education, reimbursement, economics, and patient transitions.

  • Develop differentiated activation approaches that reflect account capabilities, local market dynamics, and the needs of prescribers, pharmacists, administrators, and other operational champions.

  • Create scalable models that enable treatment dosing and step-up dosing pathways, where appropriate, and support sustained adoption after initial activation.

  • Orchestrate focused account acceleration initiatives, establish action plans, monitor progress, surface systemic barriers, and recommend enterprise solutions.

Customer Solutions, Content & Experience

  • Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of customer resources, operational tools, digital solutions, core narratives, playbooks, and customized engagement materials.

  • Synthesize insights from community prescribers, pharmacists, administrators, practice leaders, field teams, and other stakeholders to identify unmet needs and improve customer relevance.

  • Ensure customer solutions clearly communicate clinical, operational, and economic value while supporting a strong, consistent brand and portfolio narrative.

  • Apply disciplined content planning and review practices to improve quality, speed, reuse, and timely delivery of category-based customer materials.

  • Use customer satisfaction, message effectiveness, adoption, utilization, and field feedback to assess impact and optimize programs.

Access, Pricing & Community Value Strategy

  • Partner with Pricing, Market Access, Strategic Customer Group, Account Management, Finance, and brand teams to inform channel, contracting, and customer value strategies that support access and sustainable growth.

  • Contribute community and customer insights to economic modeling, value proposition development, contracting approaches, and pull-through plans.

  • Shape community-focused value narratives for use with group purchasing organizations, community practice leaders, and senior customer stakeholders.

  • Monitor competitive, pathway, reimbursement, channel, and customer economic dynamics and translate implications into commercial strategy and field execution.

  • Build practical tools and communication approaches that enable appropriate understanding and execution of customer value and access strategies.

Field Enablement & Execution Excellence

  • Partner with Sales and field leadership to ensure consistent, coordinated execution across Oncology Specialists, Area Business Specialists, Key Account Managers, Oncology Customer Engagement, Integrated Business Group, Medical Science Liaisons, and other relevant teams.

  • Lead development and delivery of brand, market, operational, economic, and resource training for new and existing customer-facing teams.

  • Equip field teams with actionable segmentation, account planning tools, customer narratives, playbooks, and resources that strengthen local execution.

  • Create mechanisms for best-practice sharing, rapid feedback, issue escalation, and continuous refinement of field strategies and materials.

  • Support field model evolution and expansion by defining capability requirements, training needs, deployment priorities, and measures of effectiveness.

Cross-Functional & Enterprise Leadership

  • Serve as a central integrator across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Pricing, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Operations, Legal, Regulatory, and Healthcare Compliance.

  • Lead complex cross-functional workstreams from strategy through implementation, establishing clear outcomes, decision rights, milestones, risks, and ownership.

  • Influence senior leaders and partners without direct authority, resolve competing priorities, and mobilize resources against the highest-value opportunities.

  • Represent the community customer perspective in portfolio, brand, launch, channel, access, and investment decisions.

  • Ensure all strategies, resources, and activities meet applicable legal, regulatory, healthcare compliance, privacy, and company requirements.

Business Performance & Accountability

  • Establish objectives, key performance indicators, and learning agendas that connect activity to customer behavior, operational readiness, adoption, utilization, access, and business impact.

  • Monitor performance across priority segments and accounts; identify gaps, test interventions, and adjust strategy based on data and market feedback.

  • Provide clear updates and recommendations to leadership on progress, risks, investment needs, customer barriers, and opportunities.

  • Manage budget and agency or external partner resources with discipline, ensuring investment is prioritized against strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Balance near-term delivery with development of repeatable capabilities and scalable solutions that support long-term community growth.

People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Community Expansion marketing team with clear accountability for strategy, deliverables, and business outcomes.

  • Create an inclusive environment that encourages candid challenge, customer focus, experimentation, collaboration, and disciplined execution.

  • Build team and enterprise capability in community market development, operational activation, customer engagement, access strategy, and commercialization.

  • Attract, develop, and retain talent; provide regular feedback, meaningful development opportunities, and succession planning.
