Our client is a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, seeking an AI/ Machine Learning Engineer to support and drive its AI initiatives.
Job Overview
The AI/ Machine Learning Engineer will develop and deploy practical AI/ML solutions, working closely with business teams to convert business requirements into effective AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
- Build AI/ML solutions using Python, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and SQL.
- Develop solutions for computer vision and image recognition, including defect detection.
- Integrate LLMs and chatbots using RAG, prompt engineering, and APIs.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop AI prototypes and pilots based on business requirements.
- Integrate and extract data from ERP systems, including Oracle EBS or similar platforms.
- Explore AI applications in manufacturing, including predictive maintenance, IoT/sensor-data analysis, and production optimization.
- Present technical solutions and project outcomes to business teams and senior management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement practical AI opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Specialization in AI/Machine Learning will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and SQL.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
- Practical experience in Computer Vision, Image Recognition, LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and API Integration.
- ERP integration experience is an advantage; Oracle EBS experience will be preferred.
- Manufacturing/Industrial AI experience is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions within short timelines.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
