Job Description

This position is responsible for daily gift processing duties and support of Senior Accounting Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily gift processing duties & support of Senior Accounting Assistant: 

  • Receive, review, and verify accounts receivable documents.  

  • Perform data input and process donations, ensuring allocations & 

donor intent are accurate and prepare receipts. 

  • Verify compliance with Foundation policy, University’s UAM, CASE 

Global Standards and IRS regulations. 

  • Performs all duties in a timely manner with 95% accuracy. 

  • Assist in maintaining an organized work environment. 

Required Qualifications

  • Current University of Nevada, Reno student in good academic standing. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.  

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.  

  • Ability to learn new software systems and follow established processes.   

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.  

  • Prior experience with data entry, administrative support, customer service, or database work is helpful but not required 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current University of Nevada, Reno student in good academic standing. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
