As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – Level 4, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is a full-time remote position.  Priority will be given to candidates located near the following Northrop Grumman Space Sector sites:  Redondo Beach, CA, Chandler, AZ, Baltimore, MD, or Huntsville, AL.

In this job, you will:

• Develop agreement specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services

• Develop and negotiate complex agreement terms and conditions (including FAR/DFAR clauses)

• Source specialized goods and services

• Prepare Request for Proposal package, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate provisions, select or recommend suppliers, write awards

• Lead/manage the RFQ/RFP process

• Own contractual management of the supplier

• Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as law department, contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-users

• Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations

• Ensure compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations.

This position requires the ability to handle complex terms and condition negotiations while balancing and influencing multiple competing priorities and individuals. A strong commitment and collaborative approach are paramount for success. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, presentation and human relations skills are required. 

Basic Qualifications:

• ​Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or a related field, or a Masters with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or a related field. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

• 2+ years of demonstrable experience in terms and conditions exhibited through a lead role in negotiations

• Experience in MS Office Suite

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in law either as a J.D. or Paralegal

• Experience with SAP/Costpoint ERP System

• Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry

• Experience with FAR/DFARS

• Experience in commerciality procurement

Primary Level Salary Range: $97,100.00 - $145,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
