Position Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Group Operations Manager – Expansion & Strategy to work directly with the Co-Founder as a key right-hand person at group level. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, separate from day-to-day restaurant management. The successful candidate will help build the operational infrastructure required to support the group’s growth, including new restaurant openings, operational systems, financial performance, people structure and future expansion across Hong Kong and the wider APAC region.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within an established multi-brand or multi-location restaurant/hospitality group, with the ability to move between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Operations & Strategy

• Work closely with the Co-Founder on group-level operational strategy and business priorities.
• Develop and implement consistent operational standards across restaurants and brands.
• Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency, quality and profitability.
• Establish scalable systems and processes to support future growth.

2. Expansion & New Openings

• Lead and coordinate operational aspects of new restaurant openings.
• Support concept development, operational planning, manpower planning and pre-opening preparation.
• Develop opening timelines, SOPs, service standards and operational frameworks.
• Work cross-functionally with culinary, FOH, HR, finance, suppliers and external partners.

3. P&L & Performance Management

• Monitor restaurant and group-level financial performance.
• Analyse sales, labour costs, food costs, margins and other key operating KPIs.
• Work with restaurant teams to identify areas for improvement and drive profitability.
• Establish reporting and performance management systems for the growing group.

4. Organisation & People

• Help design the group’s organisational structure as the business expands.
• Develop management structures, reporting lines and manpower plans.
• Support recruitment and development of key operational leadership positions.
• Establish training, performance management and leadership development processes.

5. Systems, SOPs & Standards

• Develop and implement group-wide SOPs, policies and operational standards.
• Ensure consistency in service quality, guest experience and operational execution.
• Build systems that can be replicated across multiple locations and future markets.

6. APAC Expansion

• Support the Co-Founder in evaluating and preparing for future expansion opportunities across APAC.
• Assist with operational feasibility, market entry planning and new business development.
• Develop scalable operating models that can be adapted to different markets.
