Logistics Specialist
As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the BNATCS mission by coordinating the movement, storage, tracking, and distribution of equipment and materials. You’ll help ensure that the right resources are available at the right place and time while maintaining accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including the movement of equipment and materials from origin to destination while ensuring timely delivery, proper handling, and compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
- Manage inventory and storage activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, stock levels, and material accountability while supporting organized and efficient warehouse operations.
- Analyze and improve logistics processes by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, minimize delays, and improve overall service and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve transportation and material issues, including delays, shortages, damaged shipments, and lost or misplaced equipment.
- Prepare and maintain shipping and logistics documentation, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and compliant with established procedures and requirements.
- Support logistics safety and compliance initiatives, implementing and maintaining safe material-handling and transportation practices in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor logistics performance and develop reports using key metrics to evaluate carrier performance, freight activity, inventory accuracy, costs, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Identify potential logistics risks and recommend corrective actions to help maintain schedule, minimize disruptions, and ensure mission requirements are met.
- Collaborate across functional teams to support planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities associated with a complex, nationwide aviation modernization program.
Work Environment
- Duty Station: Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) – Oklahoma City, OK
- Travel: Up to 25%
- Work Arrangement: Occasional remote work may be available based on program and operational requirements

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in logistics management; 9 years of experience without degree can be accepted
- Ability to troubleshoot logistical issues and optimize supply chain operations
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners
