ICP Group is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate for our Carroll, Lynchburg, VA plant.  The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently handling materials, ensuring accurate receiving and shipping of products, and maintaining inventory integrity. This role requires operating a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload trucks, organizing materials within the warehouse, and assisting other departments as needed.

This is a 1st shift position, Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm paying $19.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Handling & Logistics:
    • Load and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jack.
    • Ensure products received are accurate and undamaged before entering them into the system.
    • Verify outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
  • Inventory Management & Organization:
    • Enter receiving and inventory data into the ERP system.
    • Retrieve pallets from racks for department requests.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient racking system.
    • Act as a secondary check on inventory accuracy, in addition to system tracking.
    • Track non-inventory items as required.
  • General Warehouse Operations:
    • Perform basic math calculations using a scale and calculator.
    • Receive and process FedEx and UPS deliveries.
    • Assist other departments with warehouse-related needs.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Data & Quality Integrity:
    • Ensure data entry is accurate and up to date.
    • Maintain quality control standards for received and shipped materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to read, write, and enter data into an ERP system.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to use a scale and calculator.
  • Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to assist other departments.
Work Environment:
  • Warehouse setting with occasional exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
