Business Development Specialist - VisMin

Air Liquide Philippines, a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, started its operations in 1994 and currently employs 230+ people. We operate air separation units (ASU), hydrogen plants, carbon dioxide plants, cylinder refilling stations and depots, on-site plants and pipelines nationwide. Our main plant is situated in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and our head office is in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

We serve a wide spectrum of markets and industries including electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, metals, automotive, shipbuilding, and hospitals.

Air Liquide Philippines is ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as GMP certified for medical oxygen. In addition, our liquid carbon dioxide plant in Pasig City filled the requirements for Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) for the manufacture of this gas as a food additive.

The Business Developer's role is to generate new revenue to drive Air Liquide's growth, specifically in the VisMin region. This is done by identifying new business opportunities and/or markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, or even new product and service offers that can better cater to the needs of those existing markets. The Business Developer will cover Bulk and Packaged Gas supply modes, including Microbulk and E&I solutions.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Generate and qualify leads into prospects by conducting cold calls and physical visits to perform thorough needs assessments to gain insights into the clients' specific requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customized solutions across different gas modes of supply that align with client needs and business objectives.
• Prepare and submit commercial offers, and negotiate and sign contracts with adherence to Air Liquide commercial policy, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support long-term partnerships.
• Record and monitor business activities (customers and the overall market) through Air Liquide's CRM, and conduct accurate business forecasting and analysis of portfolio growth.

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business 

• Have a 3-5 years sales engineering experience, technical experience will be an advantage

• Own a driving license and a car

• Willing to travel to customers area 

• Have an excellent social behavior with effective communication skills, learning agility and customer focus mindset
