Role and Responsibilities
Leads the development and execution of the brands Go to Market strategy. Responsible for all digital, brand and channel marketing as well as leadership for all Dacor branded showrooms and trade marketing efforts. Manage brand strategy and build & execute aggressive plans & campaigns for awareness growth. Marketing lead for Samsung B2B business focusing on channel messaging & creative, digital and lead generation initiatives. Samsung Appliance lead for Intercept Marketing initiatives to develop new sell out platforms.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- In partnership with senior leadership, drive the creation and execution of the brands strategy, gaining alignment with key stakeholders and setting up KPIs to consistently track progress
- Develop social media /online digital marketing strategy
- Ensure the integrity and functionality of company’s website content and engagement functionality on websites, drive site traffic and enhance customer lead data in CRM.
- Define and articulate current and future brand pillars, product architecture and philosophies and content buckets / areas of focus and differentiation
- Continually develop and strengthen brand guidelines across all areas of go-to-market planning to set sales regions up for success
- Understand pain points of sales regions. Build and align goals across all levels of the matrix to ensure reduction of redundancies, spend and increase efficiencies globally
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure innovation sufficiency determining white space opportunities by category and better innovation solutions based on findings from consumer insights, data and analytics, social listening and external best practices
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define the consumer journey and create winning consumer messaging strategies across all touch points to drive relevance and love for the brand and gain insights and buy in from industry influencers
- Direct the management of Dacor’s social platforms to enhance brand equity, building a strong and engaged following of consumers, dealer base and influencer community that translates into brand love and sales; focus on mobile first, social first and video first mindset
- Build strategic program consistent with consumer and builder strategies to educate sales team, design community, and trade community around the world on our brand and our products
- Identify key skills and experiences to up skill and educate Marketing teams to continue to outpace competition and establish Brands as best-in-class leaders
- Manage agencies providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers including contract negotiation and execution of SOW
- Responsible for the marketing programs to support product introductions and business development
- Manages product marketing, promotion, and advertising programs and materials for specific customer market channels.
- Manages and develops product branding and product promotional initiatives.
- Approves advertising, promotional materials, public relations forums, press releases, and product information in support of sales leadership for industry events, product announcements, and product promotions.
- Collaborate cross functionally to set revenue and profit goals.
- Creates and manages annual budget for the Marketing department.
- Directs the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 12+ years of directly related experience required, 10+ with Master’s degree
- Luxury products industry experience required
- Highly data-driven with strong ability to use insights to frame recommendations and results into concise and actionable reports
- Exemplary project management skills, with strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean and demanding work environment
- Global or multinational exposure
- Prior experience managing and developing Marketing staff required.
- Must be able to write, read, analyze, interpret, present, and explain industry related product and development materials.
