Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Manufacturing Laborers for projects located in the Rock Valley, IA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $21-22/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Remove remnant material from laser-cut steel sheets
- Inspect parts to ensure they are burr-free
- Package and stack finished parts in the correct containers
- Follow packaging instructions listed on job travelers
- Accurately count finished parts and complete job documentation using a computer
- Read blueprints and match paperwork to the correct parts
- Lift, carry, and move steel parts weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed
Requirements
- Pass a drug screen, and background check
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
- PPE Required: Steel-toe boots, Safety glasses & Ear plugs
