Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

  

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Test Coordinator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in France. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team.

Please note that we can consider only EU candidates for this position due to security clearance.

  

Requirements

  • University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 8 years;
  • At least 6 years of automated and manual software testing experience, and experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., TOSCA, QTP), Test Management tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira), Code Quality Review tools (e.g., SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk);
  • Proven experience with testing technologies and tools;
  • Ability to understand the functional and technical design of a given IT system/application;
  • Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies;
  • Capacity in writing documents;
  • Excellent command of the English language.

  

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all testing activities;
  • Leverage automation testing as much as possible to enable the development team to perform Unit/ Integration/ Factory Acceptance testing;
  • Manage the testing tools, including automation testing tool, defect tracking tool, test management tool;
  • Plan and control that any changes to the system are validated in accordance with specifications and requirements;
  • Manage the environments specific testing activities and plan the usage of these; testing activities and plan the usage of these;
  • Supervise and document test plans, tests and tests results.
